No. 3 NKU men outlast Lewis in OT

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. Craig Conley made six free throws during overtime Saturday as Northern Kentucky defeated Lewis 83-78 at Neil Carey Arena.
Conley (LaSalle High) had 24 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for NKU, ranked No.3 in NCAA Division II.
NKU (19-3, 10-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference) built a 14-point lead with eight minutes remaining in regulation, but Lewis forced overtime when Josh Virostko hit a 3-pointer in the closing seconds.
Craig Conley had an excellent game, and he really made some big free throws in overtime, NKU coach Ken Shields said.
Craig Sanders (McNicholas) scored 13 points for NKU, which won at the Neil Carey Arena for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
