Tickets are on for the 2001 Cammy Awards, set for March 11.

        The big change this year for the Enquirer Cincinnati Area Pop Music Awards is a move to a larger venue, Jillian's Warehouse in Covington.

        But the format remains the same. Comedian/singer Blair Shannon returns for his third year as master of ceremonies, and the 4 p.m. show will offer as much live local music as possible.

        This year's acts include:

        • Noah Hunt & the 420 All Stars, the new local band featuring members of Uncle Six and the lead singer for the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band.

        • Original pop-rock band the Simpletons.

        • Cammy-winning singer/songwriter Tracy Walker.

        • The country-rocking Dallas Moore Band, the big winner at the 2000 Cammys for best CD, songwriter, country vocalist, country instrumentalist (guitarist Chuck Morpurgo) and country band.

        • The innovative jazz/rap group Iswhat!?

        Additional performers, including lifetime achievement award winners, will be announced in coming weeks.

        Tickets are $12.50 in advance, $15 day of show, at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone (562-4949) and online (www.ticketmaster.com). All ticket proceeds go to the Michael W. Bany Memorial Scholarship fund, which aids the area's needy music students.
