Traffic accidents Tuesday killed one woman and sent 10 others including five elementary school students on field trip and a teen driver to hospitals.
A Brookville, Ind., woman died after the car her teen-aged daughter was driving went off Harrison-Brookville Road in Dearborn County about 12:30 p.m., then hit an oncoming pickup truck.

The 42-year-old woman's name was not released Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old daughter had a learner's permit, Dearborn sheriff's deputies said. Her grandmother, who was not identified, was also a passenger in the car. Their conditions were not available.
Dennis Greenhill, 39, of Metamora, Ind., was driving the pickup. He was in fair condition Tuesday night at Good Samaritan Hospital, undergoing treatment of a partially collapsed lung.
His passenger, Earnest Thompson, 35, of Metamora, was treated at University Hospital and released.

Earlier Tuesday, five fifth-graders from Carlisle Intermediate School in Warren County were treated at Children's Hospital, mostly for minor injuries, after their school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 75.
Four of the students were released Tuesday afternoon, a Children's spokesman said. The fifth, 11-year-old Jessica Boster, was admitted in fair condition.
Police say the bus driver, Ginger Vantrease, changed lanes to access the Western Avenue/Liberty Street exit in Camp Washington about 10 a.m. A car struck the back of the bus, then a third vehicle struck that car.
The driver of the car that hit the bus was treated at University Hospital.
Ms. Vantrease, a driver for Carlisle Local for three months, was ticketed for improper lane change.
The bus was taking students to the Cincinnati Museum Center.
