'Creation' magazine founder to talk
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Carl Wieland, founder and editor of the international magazine Creation, will speak at 7 p.m. tonight at the 1,650-member Calvary Baptist Church in Covington.
Mr. Weiland will speak about his conversion and former evolutionary beliefs. He heads the Answers in Genesis ministry in Australia and is in the United States to participate in the annual board meeting of the U.S. ministry of Answers in Genesis in Florence.
The evangelical organization is raising money to build a 95,000-square-foot creation museum in Boone County that is to present a walk-through history of the world from a biblical perspective.
The ministry believes that Genesis, the first book of the Bible, is a simple but factual account of actual events.
The seminar is free and open to the public. For more information, call the church at (859) 491-1955.
All attendees will receive a free book that includes the ministry's answers to biblical questions, including Cain's wife and the origin of races, according to a news release.
