INDIANAPOLIS Craig Sanders and Brian Lawhon scored 18 points each Tuesday night as Northern Kentucky defeated the University of Indianapolis 96-66.
Lawhon (Sycamore High) made all six of his 3-point attempts as NKU improved to 21-4 overall, 12-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse, ranked No.15 in the Division II poll, connected on 14 of 24 3-point attempts and shot 63.6 percent from the field. Sanders (McNicholas) hit four 3-pointers for NKU, which has beaten Indianapolis (12-10, 7-9 GLVC) five consecutive times.
