INDIANAPOLIS - Michelle Cottrell scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Northern Kentucky defeated Indianapolis 72-38 at Nicoson Hall.
Cottrell (Boone County) has 33 double-doubles in her career at NKU. Julie Cowens added 17 points for the Norse, who improved to 20-2 overall (14-2 GLVC). Indianapolis fell to 11-11 (7-9 GLVC).
The first-place Norse are seeking their third consecutive GLVC championship.
