Michelle Cottrell scored 24 points and was one of five Northern Kentucky players to score in double figures in the No.6 Norse's 102-73 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan Thursday night.
Cottrell (Boone County) scored 20 in the second half, when NKU shot 57 percent. She needs two more points to move into second place on NKU's career scoring list; she has 1,584.
Michele Tuchfarber and Julie Cowens each scored 16 points for the Norse (21-2, 15-2 GLVC). Crystal Martin led Kentucky Wesleyan (8-15, 5-12) with 21 points.
