NKU women upset by Bellarmine
LOUISVILLE Nickie Randall scored four points in the final 45 seconds Saturday as Bellarmine defeated No.6 Northern Kentucky 78-75.
Randall's 10-foot jump shot with 45 seconds left gave Bellarmine a 76-75 lead. Randall then made two free throws with 15 seconds remaining.
Ryan Danner scored 21 points as Bellarmine (19-5, 14-4 Great Lakes Valley Conference) snapped NKU's seven-game winning streak. The Norse dropped to 21-3 (15-3).
Michelle Cottrell (Boone County) scored 21 points and moved into second place on NKU's all-time scoring list with 1,605 career points.
