Kids may need consent for piercing

The Associated Press

FRANKFORT — A House committee has a message for Kentucky youngsters: Talk to your parents before getting a body piercing.

The Licensing and Occupations Committee approved such a bill Wednesday. The bill now goes to the full House.

The measure would prohibit body piercings for youngsters under 18 without their parents' written consent.
