Channel 48 restores 'McLaughlin'

The McLaughlin Group returns to its regular time slot today (7:30 p.m., Channel 48) after a viewer protest.

WCET-TV pulled the talk show three weeks ago to air State of Ohio, a new public affairs show. State of Ohio will move to 7:30 p.m. Mondays.

Removing the McLaughlin Group “caused many viewers and members to contact us to voice their displeasure,” says Susan Howarth, Channel 48 president and CEO. “We thank our viewers for taking the time to share their opinions.”

To make room for State of Ohio, Channel 48 has dropped a repeat of Travels in Europe.
