Thomas More women ousted




        Jennifer Patterson hit a putback at the buzzer as the Lady Colonels beat Thomas More 87-86 in the first round of the Division III South Region NCAA Tournament.

        Centre shot 62 percent in the first half and led 50-33 at the half. Thomas More shot 54 percent from the field and took its only lead of the game with 15.3 seconds remaining on a 3-pointer by Ashley Will.

        Will finished with a game-high 25 points.
