New runway study posted on Web site
The executive summary of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) draft of an environmental impact study on new proposed runway space at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is being posted on the airport's Web site.
The 69-page document, which sums up a five-volume study, could be available as early as today on www.cvgairport.com and will be posted no later than Monday, FAA officials said.
The full report was too large to post on the Internet, FAA officials said. It can be viewed at one of 24 Tristate locations.
The release of the draft study kicks off a 60-day public comment period on the proposed new north-south runway and extension on the current east-west runway. The FAA's final decision is expected late this year.
