NewCath moves on to tonight's final

        Newport Central Catholic rolled over Newport 68-41, and will face Highlands in the 36th District championship at 7:30 p.m. today at Bellevue.

        Jeff Colson and Ronny Dawn combined for 13 first-quarter points to lead NCC to a 19-8 lead. The Thoroughbreds shot 13-of-21 from the floor in the first half and took a 31-15 halftime lead.

        Dawn led NCC with 13 points and Vince Bonhaus added 11.
