GE engineers honored for work

The high-pressure turbine is one of the most sophisticated and demanding parts of the modern jet engine.

Also as part of the Engineer's Day observance, GEAE recognized four engineers at its Lynn, Mass., plant for their work on the CF34-8 engine for new regional jets. They are Joseph Joyce, Mike Macrorie, Steven Manwaring and Robert Walter.
