Northern Kentucky's Nate Dusing, a University of Texas senior, was named Outstanding Swimmer at the Big 12 Championships, leading the top-ranked Longhorns to their 22nd consecutive conference title.

        The Covington Catholic HS grad won the 200-yard backstroke and 200 individual medley titles and took part in the winning 400 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.

        Dusing won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics on the 400 freestyle relay.
