Girls All-Ohio Division II team


McNicholas' Clark named to 2nd team

        Ashley Clark of Cincinnati McNicholas, a 6-0 senior who led her team to the state tournament this week, is a second-team pick on the Associated Press Division II All- Ohio girls basketball team, announced Tuesday.

        Upper Sandusky's Lyndsey DeWitt and Jackson's Beth Howe share player of the year honors.

        DeWitt, a 5-foot-9 senior, averaged 29.6 points a game. She has signed to play next season at Louisville.

        Howe, an Ohio State recruit, is a 5-9 senior who averaged 25.9 points a game.

        The selections were based on the recommendations of a state panel of sports writers and broadcasters.
