Guidugli weighs UC, UK, Notre Dame

Once Gino Guidugli's basketball career ended with Highlands' 59-45 loss to Russellville in the Kentucky Sweet Sixteen tournament, most of the questions directed at him pertained to where he will play quarterback next fall. The latest finalists: Kentucky, Cincinnati and Notre Dame.

Guidugli has visited all three. He said he planned to decide by the middle of next week. He orally committed to UK last month and later backed off when former head coach Hal Mumme resigned amid an investigation into re cruiting violations.

Guidugli said UC and Notre Dame have said a scholarship is available until April 1. And UK?

“Kentucky said I had to make a decision by last Saturday,” Guidugli said.

Guidugli said he has not talked to UK since last Friday.
