Michelle Munoz graduates in May and will play for Tennessee next season, but the Mason High School center will be remembered for a long time.
The only Cincinnati-area girls basketball player to be named Ohio Ms. Baskebtall twice, Munoz completed a brilliant four-year career, averaging 24 points and 11 rebounds for coach Gerry Lackey's Comets.
Munoz is The Enquirer's Division I Player of the Year.
It was unbelievable when I was named (Ohio Ms. Basketball) again, Munoz said. I never expected to win it once and then to do it again is something special.
One of the pioneers of girls basketball in Ohio, Mercy coach Mary Jo Huismann's teams have won 485 games while losing 159.
Again this season, Huismann had the Bobcats firing on all cylinders, compiling a 20-5 record en route to winning the GGCL Scarlet Division, sectional and district championships.
The Bobcats reached the regional championship game with a victory over Mason but fell to eventual champion Beavercreek in the finals. Huismann is the Enquirer's Division I Coach of the Year.

Ashley Clark, a 6-foot senior center for McNicholas, wore the look of a champion. A highly motivated and determined player, Clark led the Rockets to the Division II state championship.
Along the way, Clark averaged 16.5 points and nine rebounds a game and was named first team Southwest District and second team All State. She is the Enquirer's Division II Player of the Year.
Best known as a track and cross country coach, Rob Heise took over the McNicholas girls team three seasons ago and turned the Rockets into a power.
The Rockets went a single-season school best 22-6. Besides winning the Division II state title, the Rockets also captured the GGCL Gray Division, sectional, district and regional titles. Heise is the Enquirer's Coach of the Year.
Eastern Brown went undefeated during the regular season for the second consecutive season and earned a spot in the Division III state championship game.

Elizabeth Burrows, a 5-8 junior guard who averaged 12.6 points, six assists and three steals, was one of the key players, often coming up with big defensive plays and points in close games.
This effort earned Burrows the Enquirer's Division III Player of the Year with coach Richard Kiser the Division III Coach of the Year.
Seven Hills' Tyler McIlwraith earned all-state honors this season. A 6-foot sophomore, McIlwraith averaged 19.5 points and 11 rebounds for the Stingers and is the Enquirer's Division IV player of the year.
Cincinnati Country Day's co-coaches Mary Zimmerman and Jenny Gilligan worked well together to lead the Indians to a co-championship in the MVC and a sectional championship. They are the Enquirer's Division IV Co-coaches of the Year.
