Some people buy shoes to match their clothes. Others choose hats, purses, some even gloves. But, Sandra Gay of Colerain Township shops with a twist. She buys clothes to match her eye glasses 90 pairs, give or take a frame or two.
I pick up glasses when I'm out of town and (in) shops all over around here, she says. If I see a pair I like, I buy 'em and take them to my eye doctor. He just laughs at me, says the 52-year-old retired Cincinnati Bell repair attendant who is ready to re-enter the workforce.
Sandra is always dressed to impress, says Henrietta Hill, who nominated Ms. Gay. Coordination is her key ... every piece, from nails and glasses to stockings and shoes, is carefully chosen to complete her look.

Describe your style: I really like the long, loose look, usually any color. I try to match the earrings and jewelry with the outfit because I have short hair.
Your signature look: The glasses, of course. Some buy shoes. I buy glasses, then the clothes to match. I wear them to bed, too. I just have to be able to see who I'm dreaming about, you know.
You can be found shopping at: Exquisite House in Swifton, Pretty Hands and Pretty Feet Clothes Boutique on Main Street, Kotsovos in Montgomery and anywhere I see something.
Pet peeve: Full-figured people with clothes that are too tight and too short.
If you had big bucks, you'd buy: I'd buy church clothes. You have clothes for different things, like work or casual. But I love church clothes. I wear dresses, suits, skirts and tops. My pastor doesn't like pants, but if they are cut full, it's OK. But no hats. They don't go with my glasses. It's just too much.
Best bargain: My Easter outfit. It's orange, and it was 70 percent off. It's a long, straight skirt and knee-length, flared jacket. I saw it and said, Oooooooh. But it was too expensive. Then I found out it was on sale. It made my day.
