Wilkens Blvd. opens
The Cincinnati Enquirer
DEERFIELD TWP. The public is invited to a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the opening of Wilkens Boulevard and a reception at the Snyder House at Deerfield Township Cottell Park, 5847 Irwin-Simpson Road.
The $1.6 million road connecting Fields Ertel Road and Natorp Boulevard generally parallel to Mason-Montgomery Road - was to improve traffic flow.
We also believe there is an additional 300 acres that is going to be developed commercially (near Wilkens Boulevard), Trustee William Morand said.
So instead of exacerbating the (traffic) problem, we are hoping to control it.
