Vietnam Memorial replica here this week




        Following is a schedule of events for The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, that visits Sharonville Elementary, 11150 Maple St., Sharonville, Wednesday through Monday. The wall is open to the public 24 hours a day. School groups can still arrange a visit by calling the school at 563-6393.

        Wednesday

        • The Wall arrives and will be set up and open to the public no later than 4 p.m.

        Thursday

        • School groups visit.

        • 7 p.m. Dedication ceremony.

        Friday

        • School groups visit.

        • 9 p.m. Candlelight ceremony and procession to the Wall.

        Saturday

        • 9-11 a.m. Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre, gymnasium.

        • 11 a.m. Coordinated ceremony with Patriot Pointe, flyover and caisson-led procession to Patriot Pointe for groundbreaking. Patriot Pointe will be Sharonville's new veterans memorial honoring veterans from all wars.

        Sunday

        • No ceremonies planned. Public viewing.

        Monday • 9 a.m. Closing ceremony.
