Five men charged in cocaine bust
The Associated Press
LEXINGTON Federal drug agents broke up what they think is a cocaine pipeline from Chicago to Lexington, arresting five people and recovering 25 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $750,000, according to federal court records.
Last Wednesday, Ray Washington, 29, and Adrian Black, 27, both of Lexington, and Demitrius Wingate, 32, address not available, and two men from Illinois, Antoine Everett, 34, and Marquese Thompson, 22, were arrested after meeting at an Indianapolis hotel and making what officials say was a transfer of cocaine, according to an affidavit filed by federal Drug Enforcement Administration agent Jeff Meade.
All were charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine.
