Mirror magic: Medicine cabinet mirrors in older homes can be decorating dead-ends, especially if there are clouded or chipped corners. Pamela Mosser of Design Inspirations Inc. in Hamilton was faced with just such a problem in this year's Cincinnati Ballet Designer Showhouse in Clifton. In the master bath, she whipped up a fabric frame of a Brunschwig & Fils design. The material was pleated and gathered then double-corded. She fastened it to the mirror withhot glue, retaining the delicate pattern work of the mirror's design.

The showhouse, at 429 Lafayette Ave., is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily (8 p.m. on Thursdays) through May 27. Cost is $18 at the door, $12 for groups of 15 or more and seniors. 947-8226.
