Though Dr. Mayra Frias wears a lab coat over her clothes for her job as an internal medicine resident at Good Samaritan Hospital, her style gets noticed.
She looks like she just walked out of a classy fashion magazine. This is especially remarkable when the rest of us look like something the cat dragged in after one of our grueling 34-hour shifts, co-worker Dr. Rupa Bekal says of the mother of two from Symmes Township.
Describe your style: Conservative, classic and practical at the same time.
Your look: Suits. I like to mix and match the pieces. I don't go for fads. I look for good quality, good lines.
Your favorite designers: Jones of New York and Ann Taylor, because they fit well and the style is modern for a young professional.
You can be found shopping: At Kenwood Towne Centre. My husband teases me sometimes that it is my second home.
Your pet peeve: Clothes that are too tight.
Your best buy: I have an Ann Taylor suit I bought about six years ago that I still love.
You splurge on: It depends on my mood. But I am very particular about my perfume. I love Gio by Giorgio Armani and I can't find it. I have to get it from a friend in Miami.
Colors you like: I like black, but it depends on the season. In spring, I love blues and greens and pastels.
