Sushi restaurants rising

By Polly Campbell
The Cincinnati Enquirer

Four years ago, I wrote a guide to sushi in Greater Cincinnati and was pleased to find seven places. Now I'm not sure if I could come up with an accurate count.

Not only are there more Japanese restaurants, but many Chinese and Thai restaurants have added sushi to their menus. Here's a small sampling of where you can try sushi in different parts of town.

        Downtown

        Ko-Sho

        215 E. Ninth

        665-4950

        Sushi Ray

        650 Walnut St.

        651-2676

        Northern Kentucky

        Jo An

        3940 Olympic Boulevard, Erlanger

        (859) 746-2634

        Chung Kiwha

        7800 Commerce Drive, Florence

        (859) 525-9978

        North

        Johnny Chan 2

        11296 Montgomery Road, Symmes Township

        489-2388

        Ando Japanese Restaurant

        916 Columbus Road, Lebanon

        932-3338

        East

        Beluga

        3520 Edwards Road, Hyde Park

        533-4444

        Amarin

        7022 Miami Ave., Madeira

        272-6900
