Internet sites keep fans posted on favorite Cincinnati stars

George Clooney

When the Augusta, Ky., native turned 40 on May 6, he made headlines all over the world. Find plenty of photos of the mega-hunk at www.clooneyfiles.com, including a great German TV Guide photo of his face emerging from water. Lots of links and news, too.

Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra fans can see her in three new movies. Get Over It just came out. Perfume was previewed at the Sundance Film Festival. There's no release date yet for Sol Goode. Find information about her roles in these films at us.imdb.com. By the way, the domain name “www.carmenelectra.org” has been purchased by a former member of Namezero.com Inc. and is for sale. If you remember her from her days in White Oak, the domain name “taraleighpatrick.org” seems to be available.

Rocky Carroll

Delivering what the Enquirer's theater critic called a caliber performance in The Piano Lesson for Children's Theatre, Rocky Carroll will join the cast of a new CBS-TV show called The Agency this fall. For more info, go to www.iaffecttv.com/news/index.cfm?fuseaction=report&news_id=72 (why couldn't it be rockycarroll.com, eh?)

Amy Yasbeck

A tribute page gives you real video interviews and lots of photos of the hometown success story. Married to actor John Ritter in 1999, she hasn't made a movie since the three that were released in 1998 Denial, Dead Husbands and Odd Couple II. For a look at the fabulous photo gallery, go to (www.geocities.com/yasbeckamy/photos.html)

Rodger Bingham

The domain name doesn't say much about Kentucky Joe, but one good place you can keep up with Rodger Bingham's continuing fame is called Sir Sinks A Lot (www.sirsinksalot.net/rodgerbingham/html). In addition to stories, the site also has links to other reality TV sites and a line of merchandise. By the way, one reason the site doesn't have the Crittenden, Ky., teacher's real name is someone already owns the domain name rodgerbingham.com, but nothing is posted there.

Nick Lachey

Nick and Jessica Simpson still “very much in love” if you can believe the posting earlier this month from Jessica on “The site for 98 Degrees fans.” This site (www.98degrees.org) has news, TV, talk, links, you name it. In case you missed it, newlyweds Drew and Lea Lachey told Oprah their love story during a special show called “Remarkable Promises Kept.”

Doris Day

Doris Day Kapelhoffer may not be much of a Cincinnati fan, judging by the infrequency of her visits to her hometown, but the aging actress and singer still has plenty of fans. “Discovering Doris Day,” the official fan club site (www.dorisday.com), preserves her memory with vintage photographs.
