Top Ohio prep QB chooses Ohio State

MASSILLON — Massillon Washington quarterback Justin Zwick, the subject of intensive recruiting, said Wednesday he will play college football at Ohio State in 2002.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Zwick, who will be a senior next football season, said he had 15 to 20 schools recruiting him. In the end, Zwick chose Ohio State over archrival Michigan, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Zwick established several school records at tradition-rich Massillon last year, when he completed 191 of 346 passes for 2,460 yards and 24 touchdowns. He is listed as one of the top 10 quarterback prospects by the recruiting service Rivals100.
