COVINGTON — Police were investigating a street shooting late Monday in the Jacob Price housing complex in East Covington that sent two victims to hospitals.

        The shooting occurred about 11:10 p.m. in the vicinity of the 1000 block of Greenup Street. One victim — Marcus Hawkins, 25, of East Eighth Street, Covington — was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the thigh. The other victim was taken to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg. One victim told Covington police he had no idea who shot him.

        Police were searching for a large blue vehicle with Ohio temporary tags with five males inside in connection with the double shooting.
