Two men shot in Covington

COVINGTON Police were investigating a street shooting late Monday in the Jacob Price housing complex in East Covington that sent two victims to hospitals.
The shooting occurred about 11:10 p.m. in the vicinity of the 1000 block of Greenup Street. One victim Marcus Hawkins, 25, of East Eighth Street, Covington was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the thigh. The other victim was taken to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg.
One victim told Covington police he had no idea who shot him.
Police were searching for a large blue vehicle with Ohio temporary tags with five males inside in connection with the double shooting.
