Siler wins in World Amateur Boxing




        BELFAST, Northern Ireland — Ronald Siler of Cincinnati advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Amateur Boxing Championships on Wednesday.

        Siler is one of four U.S. fighters one bout away from a medal.

        He beat Anton Dydi of Slovakia 20-9 to advance to the light flyweight quarterfinals.
