Teachers, parents, alumni and telephone company workers and their families spent seven hours at the West End school painting, landscaping, performing simple repairs and cleaning the school.
The Cincinnati Bell Pioneers focuses on projects that contribute to the civic, educational, environmental and health of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky residents.
The organization's work at Taft is an ongoing partnership between the telephone company and the school. Cincinnati Bell pledged to help Cincinnati Public Schools turn Taft into a technology center in a program that is to begin in September.
