Sheriff's deputies seek help finding fugitive
The Associated Press
GEORGETOWN Brown County sheriff's deputies are asking for public help to locate a 22-year-old Warren County man who they say escaped June 9 from custody, stole a truck and has been spotted driving in it around town.
Joshua B. Taylor of Pleasant Plain was arrested June 8 for driving under suspension in Brown County, deputies said. He also was wanted in Clermont County for failure to appear on charges of drug abuse and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
While being escorted to court on foot with other Brown County prisoners, Mr. Taylor slipped away and stole a 1990 blue Dodge Dakota truck, said sheriff's Capt. Barry Creighton.
He has been spotted driving the truck with license plate number PN63CX in Cincinnati, Clermont and Brown counties, Capt. Creighton said.
Anyone with information about Mr. Taylor's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at (937) 378-4435.
