        Panegyri: Last call for a fistful of loukoumathes, baklava, souvlaki and some mighty potent Greek wine, along with a dollop of Greek music and folk dancing at the Panegyri Greek Festival. 1-9 p.m. today, Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Road, Springfield Township. 591-0030.

        Cincinnati Feis: Northern Kentucky Convention Center stiffens its arms, clicks its heels a mile a minute and welcomes more than 900 Celtic dancers and artists to challenge each other in a variety of competitions at this festival of traditional Irish arts. Begins 9 a.m. today, Rivercenter Boulevard, Covington. $5. 731-2618.

        Mars viewings: Friends of the Observatory sets its telescopes atop the Ault Park pavilion for viewings of the red planet as it moves into its No. 1 prime viewing position for the first time in 12 years. 9:30 p.m.-midnight today, end of Observatory Avenue, Mount Lookout, free. 321-5186.

        The Kinleys: The popular country duo puts down its ooey-gooey ribs long enough to perform a set at Porkopolis BBQ Fest, complete with 12 restaurants dishing up ribs, barbecue and all the accoutrements. Noon-10 p.m., today (Kinleys at 7:30 p.m.), Sawyer Point, downtown. 579-3191.

Staying In

        TV picks: Put on your dancing shoes for public TV's day of dance specials: Rudolf Nureyev's Don Quixote on Great Performances (3 p.m., Channel 48); How Can We Know the Dancer From the Dance? (7 p.m., Channels 48, 16); and Great Performances Dance in America: Free to Dance (8 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16).

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter also says CBS repeats Gracy & Glorie (9 p.m., Channels 12, 7),a 1998 film about a small-town woman (Gena Rowlands) and a brash New Yorker (Diane Lane).

Volunteering

        ChiliFest: Hey, wanna sling some hash? Or maybe chili? Gold Star ChiliFest is looking for volunteers to staff the ticket and beverage booths as well as the wrist-banding sites where they card you even if you're 90.
