Officer accused of striking stepson
A Cincinnati police officer was arrested Saturday on charges of domestic violence against his 14-year-old stepson.
Darius Brannon, 33, of College Hill is accused of striking the boy in the face three times with his fist on Friday, causing the teen physical harm, police said.
Mr. Brannon's wife, the boy's mother, witnessed the offense at the family's Venetian Terrace home and tried to stop the assault, a police report says.
Mr. Brannon, a District 1 officer, is an eight-year veteran of the police division.
