Coles: Miami schedule toughest in 6 years
Coach Charlie Coles said the RedHawks' nonconference schedule next season might be the toughest of his tenure.
This is probably the most difficult schedule in my six years, and I think it will really help prepare us for the rest of our season, he said.
The eight-game non-Mid-American Conference schedule features games with four NCAA Tournament teams: home vs. George Mason (Nov.19), home vs. Xavier (Nov.28), home vs. Notre Dame (Dec.8) and at Southern Cal (Dec.16).
The RedHawks also will play in the Hawaii Rainbow Classic. They close out their nonconference run Dec.29 at Dayton.
