Bonds Watch: No homers

The Associated Press

ARLINGTON, Texas — San Francisco slugger Barry Bonds finished 0-for-4 with a walk in the Giants' 7-6 win over the Texas Rangers Sunday night.

Even with just one homer in 17 games, Bonds has 40 in 92 games, the same total Mark McGwire had in 1998 when he hit a record 70.

Bonds flied out to the warning track in left-center field to end the sixth with two runners on.
