Champ leads Ohio Women's Amateur
Emily Bastel of Upper Sandusky, the 1999 champ, shot a 2-under-par 70 as low qualifier in the Ohio Women's Amateur at Trumbull Country Club in Warren, Ohio.
Locals Patty Kuehner (76), Gabby Wedding (76), Kim Keyer-Scott (80), Shelley Jonda (81), and Alison Hurley (81) also qualified for the championship flight.
