        TV picks: Survey says: In a summer of reruns, the most entertaining repeat is Feud 25 (8 p.m.-midnight, Game Show Network), when Richard Dawson hosts seven old Family Feud game shows, starting with the ABC daytime premiere from July 12, 1976.

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter also says Buffy the Vampire Slayer lapses into a coma when her sister Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) is kidnapped. 7 p.m., Channel 64.

Planning Ahead

        48 hours out: So then, you've heard about the Civic Garden Center's successful community gardens program? The one in neighborhoods all over town? Come Tuesday, the center provides an air-conditioned bus tour of three of the gardening success stories. 5 p.m., free, reservation required. 221-0981.

        72 hours til Wednesday: Time to finish up those book reports and head to Showcase Cinemas Springdale for a free showing of The Iron Giant. The rules: You must be 6-12 and bring a completed book report. Parents and children under age 6 also receive free admission. Bookworm Wednesdays, 10 a.m. 671-6884.
