Festival fashion part of the show

By By Joy Kraft
The Cincinnati Enquirer

The air wasn't the only thing that steamed Friday night at the opening of the WIZ Coors Light Jazz Festival at Cinergy Field.

The pedestrian walkway across Fort Washington Way was cooking with style as concert-goers strutted their stuff. Colors sizzled — lime green was the color of the night — and patterns went wild. Heels soared, and couples partnered up in coordinating outfits. Hair was moussed, braided and gelled into works of art.

Event organizers say the three-day concert and party that included the Ujima Cinci-Bration downtown attracted 150,000. Here's a glimpse of the only show in town where the audience is the opening act.
