Trucker accused in abduction case
The Cincinnati Enquirer
WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP A 35-year-old Pennsylvania truck driver has been charged with abducting a Beckett Ridge woman after she left a tavern on U.S. 42 (Cincinnati-Columbus Road) Friday morning.
Marvin J. Parsons, of Hyndman, Pa., was located by police and arrested at Tri-State Ingredients, 6147 Western Row Road, Mason, where he reportedly had fled.
The victim, Catherine Schoener, 37, of Eagleridge Drive, identified Mr. Parsons as her assailant.
Police said Ms. Schoener left Tag's Tap Room in the 9200 block of Cincinnati-Columbus Road at about 2:30 a.m. and got into her car. She told police her assailant ran toward her and she attempted to drive off but struck a parking curb.
Ms. Schoener told officers she tried to flee on foot when she was tackled and knocked to the ground. She was able to ward off her attacker, who drove off Ms. Schoener suffered minor injuries.
Police here are sharing information with Franklin police to determine whether there might be a connection to two recent abductions in that Warren County community.
