XU's West, UC's Logan Wooden candidates




        Xavier junior David West and University of Cincinnati senior Steve Logan were among the 50 players selected as preseason candidates for the John R. Wooden All-American team.

        West was Atlantic 10 Player of the Year last season, and Logan was Player of the Year in Conference USA. Also on the list: Kentucky senior Tayshaun Prince and junior Keith Bogans.
