“More classic than anything else,” is how Harvey Reed of Symmes Township describes his style.

“I take a few dares on color and the only time I go trendy is in my casual clothes,” says the 47-year-old manager of the Hamilton County Juvenile Court.

“Harvey is always impeccably dressed, coordinated and has a passion for style,” says Bob Dugan, the Juvenile Court Youth Center superintendent who nominated him.

Signature look: I always choose my pocket handkerchief and tie to coordinate the colors. Occasionally, they match but most of the time one picks up a color in the other. And French cuffs. They're always fun.

You can be found shopping: Wherever there's a bargain. I like Bachrach. Occasionally, K&G Men's Superstore,Sharonville. They're great for ties and things that are different. Ties are an inexpensive way to accessorize. You can always afford to be trendy with ties.

You wouldn't be caught dead in: Men's capri pants. Never.

You can never have enough: Shirts, ties and shoes.

Your fashion pet peeve: Unpolished shoes. I usually polish them all at once. But if not, the night before I wear them.

Favorite designer: I tend to like Italian designers and the cut of the suit. They cover up your flaws beautifully.

If you had big bucks you'd buy: Everything but capris.

Best bargain: A Hugo Boss suit priced at $1,200. It was marked down to $400 and I got another discount. So I paid $250.

Earliest fashion memory: I think the first thing I bought myself was a pair of Bally dress shoes at Shillito's. I was about 14 or 15.

You splurge on: Ties and cuff links — and shoes. I never want my feet to hurt.
