NKU women's soccer ranked No. 2
The Northern Kentucky University women's soccer team is ranked No.2 in the NCAA Division II coaches preseason poll.
California-San Diego, which beat NKU for the national championship last season, was voted No.1.
NKU returns nine starters from last year's team, which went 21-2-2 and finished the season ranked No.2 nationally, the best finish in the program's four-year history.
