Olympic swimmers second in nationals
Olympic medalists Nate Dusing (Covington Catholic) and Erin Phenix (Ursuline) both turned in second-place finishes Wednesday at the U.S. Summer Nationals in Clovis, Calif.
Dusing (49.45) touched after Scott Tucker (49.42) in the 100-meter freestyle, and Phenix (55.67) clocked in after Gabrielle Rose (55.41) in the 100 free. Phenix tied with University of Texas teammate Colleen Lanne.
Jayme Cramer (St. Xavier) finished fifth in 1:59.36 in the 200-meter butterfly, won by Andrew Livingston (1:58.08).
