        Precious Moments Care-A-Van: A 53-foot-long traveling museum showcasing the production of Precious Moments Collectibles will be at Stone Fence in Northgate Mall noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Visitors will be able to see some of the original 21 teardrop-eyed Precious Moments figurines introduced in 1978. Information www.enesco.com. or385-1343.

        As part of Precious Moments partnership with the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations, hand-crafted quilt squares will be collected to be made into a Pink Ribbon Quilt honoring those touched by breast cancer. Finished quilts will be donated to breast cancer organizations around the country. The goal is to collect 2002 handcrafted 12-inch square pieces by the end of the year. They can be brought to the van or sent to Precious Moments Pink Ribbon Quilt Collection, 1 S 450 Summit Ave., #320, Oakbrook Terrace, Il, 60181.

        Treadway collection: Arts and crafts woodblocks from 1900 to 1915 will be exhibited through Nov.14 at Treadway Gallery in O'Bryonville. Also included in the show are European and American art pottery, art glass, oil paintings, Handel and Tiffany lamps and Rookwood, Roseville and Weller ceramics. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday.         Nominate a garden: The Cincinnati Horticultural Society is asking for favorite garden nominations to be recognized at the annual Fall Flower Show at Old Coney Sept. 21-23. Nominations will be accepted at www.cincyflowershow.com or by calling 872-9555 to get a form. Categories include container/window box, small space or large garden. Deadline: Sept. 5.

        Lighting contest: GE Lighting's “Drab to Fab” makeover contest is searching for the “drabbest” home in America. The winner will receive a $10,000 makeover. Entrants must send one interior home photo (no kitchen or bathrooms) and in 2,000 words or less explain why the home needs a makeover. Online entry deadline: Sept. 14.         Quilt show preview: Grailville Education and Conference Center in Loveland will present buffet luncheons and previews of more than 100 quilt and fiber pieces 11:30 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. Quilters will speak on contemporary quilting, and there will be tours of gardens and manor houses. Fee: $12. Reservations required.

        The quilt and fiber show, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. next Saturday and Sept. 2, will include craft demonstrations, lectures, a quilt raffle and tours of Grailville. Information and reservations for the previews: 683-2340.
