Get to it
A guide to help you make your day
Compiled by Jim Knippenberg
Going out
Cincinnati Pops: Erich Kunzel and the orchestra continue their roustabout tour of Cincinnati parks with a night full of show tunes, including lively numbers from Les Miz, Phantom, Rent and more. 8 p.m. today, Sawyer Point, downtown, free. 381-3300.

Oldies: Yeow, it's a whole conga line of Elvis impersonators when Steve Chuke and Friends unload a Tribute to Elvis Presley concert highlighting many different eras and sizes of the King. Doors open at 7 p.m. today, music at 8 p.m., Coney Island's Moonlite Gardens, $15. (859) 491-3461.

Staying In
TV picks: Julia Roberts and former flame Kiefer Sutherland star as med students experimenting with near-death experiences. Creepy, every inch of the way. Flatliners, 9-11 p.m., A&E.
Mili Avital, the Israeli actress who starred in last year's Arabian Nights mini-series, guest stars in a rerun that starts with human remains found in a garden. Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, 10 p.m., Channel 5.
Passion pits
And this from the dwindling world of drive-in movies: The area's only year-round drive-in, Holiday Auto Theatre in Hanover Township outside Hamilton (929-2999), invites aficionados to steam up the windows and help it mark its 53rd anniversary this weekend with drawings and door prizes. Meanwhile, the Oakley Drive-In on Madison Road (271-4600) says goodbye to summer after Monday's final show. The Starlite Drive-In in Amelia (734-4001) and the Bel-Air Drive-In in Versailles, Ind., (812-689-5307) will remain open weekends through October.
Planning Ahead
24 hours out: Way the heck out in the country, it's old-fashioned fun and live folk acts during Rabbit Hash's Old Timer's Day Festival. Noon-10 p.m. Saturday in the old river town near Union, Ky. (859) 586-7744.
48 hours out: Last chance for the Treasures for a Queen exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum, complete with free summer admission. All day Sunday. 721-2787.
A week away: Aerosmith's Just Play Push tour comes rattling into Riverbend, 7 p.m. next Friday, $30-$75. 562-4949.
