BizChat Live for women only

MONTGOMERY Can we talk ... business is the topic for the Sept. 12 BizChat Live session, 5-7:30 p.m. at Pomodori's restaurant. The fee is $10 and can be paid at the door. Attendees purchase their own meals.
Beginning with this meeting, BizChat Live will be for women only, said Elaine Milstein, the group's organizer. Discussion topics at future meetings will concentrate on women's business issues as well as topics of general business interest.
The sessions, limited to noncompeting businesses, involve roundtable discussions, networking and a referral group for the female small business owner or business professional. Reservations are required by Sept. 11. Information: 891-2796.
Special-needs transit service opens
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP Folks with ambulatory difficulties can now get to social engagements and non-emergency medical appointments via Hometowne Transportation.
This special-needs transportation service opened May 1 and is located at 7485 Colerain Ave.
The vans are all wheelchair accessible and provide service within the I-275 loop, company president Jayne Barnes said. Hometowne Transportation is a Medicaid provider and accepts private pay.
Ms. Barnes said that reservations for van service are required two days prior to the date needed. Information: 245-1700.
Service specializes in lunch delivery
Bringing lunches to busy people is the specialty of R.W. Transport. The service began in August and covers Clifton, Corryville, Over-the-Rhine, downtown and Mount Auburn.
Customers can choose from a roster of restaurants ranging from fast food franchises to specialty eateries offering Indian, Thai and Chinese cuisine.
Company owner Camilla Keesee said there is a delivery fee of $4 a restaurant, which includes delivery of up to six separate orders from one establishment. Discount coupons are available and a 25 percent discount is always valid for persons 65 and older.

2 new UDF stores ready, third in works
Text:The Oswald Co. Inc., a general construction firm in Kenwood, has completed two new retail stores for United Dairy Farmers. Architect for the projects was Arch Image 2.
The stores are at 4332 River Road, Delhi Township, and at 855 Eades Parkway in Lawrenceburg, Ind.
The Oswald Co. and Arch Image 2 are developing a third UDF store near I-275 and Kentucky 9 (the AA Highway). That project is expected to be complete by December. Information: 793-8080.
Bigg's adds 11th Cincinnati-area store
WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP Bigg's is getting even bigger. The Milford-based hypermarket company opened its 11th Cincinnati-area store Aug. 25.
The new location is at 4924 Union Centre Pavilion Drive, at Ohio 747 and Union Centre Road. The 65,000 square-foot store features a drive-through pharmacy, hot-food deli, floral shop and on-site bakery. Information: 248-9300.
