Tourism chief to step down
Mike Wilson, president of the Greater Cincinnati Convention & Visitors Bureau, will resign.
The bureau is expected to announce the resignation today, ending Mr. Wilson's 30-year career at the tourist and convention group.

Mr. Wilson, 51, has been under fire for the bureau's failure to meet some of its own growth goals and its inability to successfully push through an expansion of Cincinnati's downtown convention center.
The project, estimated to cost more than $300 million, has been stuck in neutral for years.
It didn't help that a drop in tax receipts this year has cut the bureau's budget by more than 7 percent.
The announcement is imminent, Mr. Wilson said, declining to comment further. This has been a very amicable process.
