Elmwood Place shop handles diaper needs

ELMWOOD PLACE — Disposable adult incontinence products and baby diapers are the specialty of DKC Shop!, which opened recently at 6313 Vine St. The company has another store in Indianapolis.

According to co-owner Mark Floyd, DKC Shop! buys its inventory in volume and can sell quality products at lower prices than would be found in retail stores. The company also delivers to individuals, hospitals and nursing homes.

The diaper service is geared to growing babies, Mr. Floyd said.

“We replace those diapers with the larger size when the child has outgrown the current diapers, instead of our customers being stuck with them,” he said.

The shop is also interested in donating its products to organizations that need them.

        DKC Shop! is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Information: 242-1123 or www.DKCShop.com.
