Otterbein 56, Mount St. Joseph 14

        WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Trever Rosendahl threw three touchdowns passes and ran for another as Otterbein beat Mount St. Joseph 56-14 Saturday.

        Rosendahl completed nine of 18 passes for 180 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Mock to give the Cardinals a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. He connected on touchdown passes of 21 and 35 yards to Jeff Gibbs in the second quarter.

        Shane Rannebarger rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinals (1-0). The game was the debut for Otterbein coach Rocky Alt.

        Mount St. Joseph scored twice in the fourth quarter. Brett Pogozalski (Fairfield), who completed nine of 22 passes for the Lions (0-2), had a 7-yard touchdown run, and Todd Riedel (Amelia) had a 5-yard touchdown run.
