Airline ticket policies
Because of Tuesday's terrorist attacks and the resulting suspension of all commercial air service, some airlines have altered their normal cancellation policies.
Here's an airline-by-airline look, based on information supplied to AAA Cincinnati's Corporate Travel Services:
Delta (and Comair): Waiving all penalties for changes and refunds for travel through next Tuesday, as well as refunding partial tickets.
American/TWA: Full refunds on travel through next Tuesday.
United: Waiving all penalties for changes/refunds for travel through Sept. 25.
Northwest: Change and refund charges waived from Tuesday to today on travel to and from North America. Tickets can be extended up to one year without penalty or change fee.
Continental: Tickets for travel Wednesday were refundable. No policy set after that.
Southwest: Full refunds available regardless of travel date.
